Today was our first visit here even though Madras Spice has been on Fraser Street for at least 5 years and we pass it all the time. From the start, everyone, even the lone diner at the time, was so friendly and accommodating. We had a toddler with us, with a stroller and required some space. The waiter was so attentive and gave us great service. The food was delicious and plentiful. Each of our choices was only 8.99 because of their Tuesday special for any dosas on the menu (with many to choose). These were the longest dosas we’ve had so far. We will definitely be back to try other items. I was back only a few days later, on a Saturday this time. My group had butter chicken, fish curry, chicken biryani and channa batura. Everything was delicious! And the service is consistently superb.

Very good for almost every dishes we ordered plus very friendly and great service of the staff here. Some of our menus are a bit too spicy for my daughter, they come to check and ask for anything required, once they know they nicely offered to replace to new one with less spicy without additional charges. Our lunch today is so much special and really delicious given a kind service of the staff here granted to us. Highly Recommend to stop by having delicious food and very impressive service from the lovely staff here

Everything was super tasty! The Chicken Chettinadu Dosa really stood out — the chicken was so soft it just melted in my mouth. No way I could ever make something like this at home. I’m definitely coming back again!

Amazing dosa and lamb biryani. Food was very delicious and I would definitely come back. Wonderful service and friendly explanation of all the items on the menu for non-Indian person like myself. I chose medium spicy and it was perfect.

Delicious food! The idli were amazing, very light with delightful sambar and other sauces. Wonderful Madras lamb curry, which really tasted like lamb (for a change!). Potato masala with two gigantic pooris was very nice. My only quibble is that the pooris were too oily. I suggest letting them drain on a rack before serving! Authentic tastes! We will come back.

I have tried here for the very first time and I would say the food was good like homely style like eating in a South Indian Mess. Ordered Hot & Sour Chicken Soup, Fish and Chicken appetizer, Chicken Biryani. As a drink ordered Watermelon juice, frankly to say which wasn’t that great quality wise(more watery). Would recommend to visit for good food.
